Changing era of Politics - Modi Sarkar

Narendra Modi, The voice of India today. One of the most vibrant leader of the Bharatiya janta party (BJP), who won the Indian general election of 2014 and host the chair of Prime Minister of india. He marked the era of change in the arena of politics with an appealing slogan of “Ab ki Baar, Modi sarkar…”.

Modi sarkar took phenomenal steps to foster the growth rate of india, along with for the upliftment of weaker section  of the society. Some his outranging steps in varoius fields are:

ECONOMICS

Narendra modi launched 3 large scale social security schemes:

Pradhan mantri suraksha bima yojana

Pradhan mantri jeevan jyoti bima yojana

Atal pension Yojana

For the benefit of lower middle class and the population falling under BPL. He also introduced the MUDRA (micro unit development and refinance agency ) bank on 9 april 2015. The bank aims to provide employment opportunities as well as financing with the help of loans to small and vulnerable sections of the businesses.

SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Digital India programme to allow transparency to the common man. The government services are made available to citizens by improving online infrastructure and by increasing internet connectivity.

ENVIRONMENT

There are some compelling eco – friendly steps taken my modi sarkar:

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan: This is one of the environment clean driven programme. It covers 4041 towns, with an aims to clean streets, roads and Infrastructure. This campaign was officially launched on 2 october, 2014 at Rajghat, New Delhi. He even nominated nine prominent public figures to support this campaign.

Clean Ganga programme: “Ganga Maa” a holy river, various steps have been taken to restore the purity of Ganga. Prime minister Narendra modi placed the ganga action plan under the direct supervision of water resources minister Uma Bharti.

National air Quality Index (NAQI) : We all are aware of the fact that with the present level of industralisation and changing urban life -style, the quality of air is detoriating .Narendra modi introduced india’s first national air quality index (NAQI) in april, 2015 to curtail the elevated pollution level in the country. The indian institute of technology in kanpur is the server head of the NAQI.

Profession or Education?

IF “the survival of the fittest” be the principle of one’s life or existence for a suitable livelihood, then one must have proper education and a sound qualification. Not only for a suitable livelihood but also for a obtaining a good job one must have academic knowledge.
Vocational education can only help one to become no more than a pedant.

If one has to seek a good profession the he or she must understand the difference between profession oriented and knowledge oriented education. Inspite of having tremendous knowledge if someone doesnot have a suitable job then it becomes hard to survive in the twentieth century. For easier employment our society must opt for building career oriented education systems.

Following the maxim, “live and let live” one must learn how to live first and then should give away to look into other stuff. Many people are there who really study for the sake of gaining knowledge but the majority are hell bent on studying to secure the monetary insurance for the rest of their lives.

This kind of attitude is extremely logical as there is too much COMPETITION nowadays. There is a very funny contemporary saying that “ There is no end of knowledge so one should not try to know even a bit of it”. Truly everyone only aquires that bit of education that would secure a roof over their head.

As far as my views are concerned. I certainly prefer the profession based education because one must lay stress on the field or strata that he or she aspires to work in. this will also act as a boost in enhancing their career life. One should never be “ a jack of all but a master of none”. For instance, if someone considers football to be his passion then he must concentrate on the field.

Sadly, the present day scenario doesn’t allow that, these kinds of aspirers are forced to depart from their passion and are overburdened with everything else. Education should not be restricted within the books. Today Cristiano Ronaldo, Bill gates, Johnny Depp etc.. have reached the zenith because they considered their passion to be their profession and worked hard on it.

Several children in India dream of representing the country in cricket but due to lack of support and enthusiasm they fail and keep failing miserably. The age of technology brought forth new gadgets to ease one’s lifestyle. To grab the know how’s of it every tom dick and harry set out to be an engineer or a doctor. Even those who weren’t supposed to be were forced to as Mr.Kumar’s son was studying IIT or Mr.Chatterjee’s daughter was giving the joint entance.

Now in the year 2015 we are not running out of tv screens nor did we fall short of cellular but there are shortages of food in plenty places round the country. Still in our country there are more engineers than agriculturists. Is it funny? Maybe.

Make in India - As I see

A brilliant initiative, an amazing kick start and well, US$63 billion as the after effect! According to me, it couldn’t have gone any better. When Modiji saw this vision of India as a global design and manufacturing hub, the citizens had their apprehensions and which were very legit at that point in time too. He launched “Make in India” on 25 September 2014 in a function at the Vigyan Bhavan.

The date of the launch was also chosen to be of maximum advantage, coming right after the successful insertion of Mangalyaan, a low-cost probe into the Martian orbit.  This quick decision was a spot of sunlight at the end of a very dark tunnel, since India’s growth rate had fallen to its lowest level in 2013. The Fragile Five name on the forehead of India was a blow which we had to partake when we were on the brink of a severe economic crisis.

Make in India, the name itself is so simple and understanding. In this flagship campaign, the Prime Minister called out for the entrepreneurs and the corporates, to step up and discharge their duties as Indian nationals by first developing India and then, for inviting  investors to endow the country with foreign direct investments. Creating job opportunities and skill enhancement of 25 major sectors of the economy was the primary objective. India held her doors open for capital and technology investment.

A “Make in India Week” event was held at the MMRDA Grounds at the Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai from 13 February 2016. The week long multi-sectoral industrial expo was attended by 2500 international and 8000 domestic foreign government delegations from 68 countries and business teams from 72 countries.

The Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP) worked with a group of highly specialized agencies to build brand new infrastructure, including a dedicated help desk and an oriented website packed by a wide array of information.

Well, to end this discussion, I would just like to say that this campaign has made India a global village and has given her opportunities like never before. There is energy, there is excitement and there is a vision.  It is a start for us and the sky to reach!!

Surogacy

With the new Surrogacy Bill cleared by the cabinet, a ban over commercial surrogacy comes imposed. According to the new bill, only legally married couples, having been childless for five years can opt for surrogacy, provided the surrogate mother is a close relative of the intended parents without any monetary involvements.

This ban comes with a hard blow to the rapidly growing sector of commercial surrogacy which amounts to about $ 2 billion an year till date. It provided a good alternative for foreign couples who came to the subcontinent to find someone to conceive their child and paid huge amounts in return. The business resulted to a great amount of women trafficking where middle men or the better called dalaals enjoyed most of the income leaving the women exhausted and exploited.

Off course the new bill puts an end to the huge incomes these dalaals gained. It also avoids the harassment of these women who were majorly exploited be it because of the health problems they suffered after the artificial transplants or unfulfilled promises by the intended parents.

At the same time it also puts an end to the income of the women who rented their wombs with consent. They could have earned good and supported their families had the process been carried out in preferable circumstances.

Hence the question arises, is completely banning surrogacy an answer to the problems it has been creating? Is it not worth thinking about it and implementing it with more regulated norms so that it works for the advantage of both the parties, that is, the intended parents and the surrogate mother? Or is completely eradicating an effect our way of dealing with its cons?

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation-

Delhi has it own heritage and monuments history..Beside this The Capital of India has its luck.when they got the signal of Running a Multi-Modal Metro around the city...
AL though it was not a first Initiative by the country Calcutta  metro was a clear cut example of not so successful metro rail.Delay by 12 times and over budget
Because of Technological barriers,Experience,Bureaucratic delays..
in the first attempt it was not that much successful to stand by the word and it takes a lot of courage to do the same Mistake..but ready to learn from our
own mistakes and implement it again  with correction, It was a much needed times for the nation to stand by the world and prove them wrong ..So when government of India
and Government of Delhi United and pass to built Delhi metro in 1995 and setup a joint company called Delhi metro rail corporation (DMRC)
Its construction begins in mid 1998.
Delhi-ties were waiting for the day when they would be able  to step in a metro rail and get a rid from the snarls and contestant honking...earlier then anticipated

their first rail metro in 2002 was ran from  Tiz hazari to sharddha 
AS Delhi metro start working it takes a lot of traffic in their shoulders from the roads.It was a new thing for people to understand and manage but delhities greet
metro with open arms and accept all the discipline,norms,regulation .Delhi metro make their service so easier that people coming out of Delhi can travel amd make their
journey more pleasurable and memorable.Delhi metro not runs around the city but also connects National capital region like guru gram, Noida, faridabad, gaziabaad allows
passengers to get off from the train at their desire destination.
it also make a friendship bond between the people who are traveling.the vision while making the Delhi metro was time saving for commuters..reduce traffic from the
road and reliable and safe..basic technology was adopted from the hong kong,(japan),singing tripartite agreement.
In Delhi metro rail they have around 160 stations included 6 air port linked roads,with 213 trains with 6 colored code.Every age group travel in metro with full joy and satisfaction.

DMRC make so easy to travel you have to just take  a Token or card get in and reach where ever you want.Service operate from 5 in the morning till 11 in the night.

I think,Delhi-ties are Bliss To have metro in their life in the era of hike people still can travel with comfort and cheap way.This is the best gift a government can give to their citizens So when ever you get a chance to visit the place just don't forgot to board on a metro.

Corporate Social Responsibility In Lovely Professioonal University.

India is part of an old civilisation but it is a young nation. It received its independence back in 1947. From that very year our country has thrived pretty hard to develop in every aspect. Top companies wrestle to establish their base in India as no other country would give them the opportunity to have such an extravagant and live market.

As said earlier, India is a young nation. All our hopes have always been associated with the young. The young, now what does it refer to? It refers to the children, the same children who form the backbone of our country. Are they provided with enough facilities that they will turn into assets for our country or they will remain as liabilities just like others? Will they lend their shoulders to carry on our country in the path of development? Is our government bothered enough for them?

HISTORY:

Over the years, Government has introduced many projects. May it be “Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan” or the very famous “Mid-Day Meal Scheme” to lure the students in coming to school, fact is that none of them has been successful enough. Now some will contradict this statement and say that there is a tremendous increase in the literacy rate. I agree there is increase in the literacy rate. But as asked before how many people out of this educated bunch are actually an asset to the country and not just liabilities? The increase in literacy rate is meaningless because earning degrees is not going to help the country in anyway. How are you utilising your earned knowledge ion the land which has helped you in achieving all that matters a lot.

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, one of the biggest cricket stars this country has ever produced and this world has ever seen. He is just a matriculate yet he commands and demands respect and love from the entire planet. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the people’s president, had had no scope of getting proper primary education but he became the 11^th president of world’s largest democracy. Dhirubhai Ambani, one of the biggest business giants this country has ever witnessed, had no proper education. But the legacy of his business empire is still carried on. Now why all these examples? It is because none of them relied only on education, they focused on the other aspects also which are now aptly called as the Vocational Courses.

Our main focus, as shown above, is children. Projects started by government have short term effects. They learn, they forget. Some out of that lot excels and gets a white collared job, but then he also becomes a part of the rooster coop system. Nobody tries to do something out of the box.  These people are very creative and have far more practical exposure than we would ever have in our entire life. These little bundles of joy are stacked with energy. All we need to do is to channelize these bundles of energy into a positive form and use it in a productive way.

PLAN: We can train those children under the students who are already doing better in their respective propaganda's. Who knows, some children out of that bunch might go on to become one of the best dancers or singers or players this world has ever witnessed!

PROCEDURE:

These children can be brought to the university twice or thrice a week, mainly in the weekends. Our students can look for their interest and guide them in the things they are interested in.  This should be made free of cost as they cannot afford any expenses. LPU organises so many events. In some events they should be allowed to perform so that it boosts their confidence level and they remain prepared for their future endeavors. Our collaborations with various organizations can help these talents reach the best platforms.

CONCLUSION:

God has given us so much. Nothing will be taken away from us if we help these tiny tots. It will be a blessing in disguise if we shape someone’s future in a better way than s/he had ever imagined. Nothing can be better than this. Then may be our country India will thrive not only for Literacy Rate but also for success in every field. Then we can call it properly developed and not only literally.
